I am just back from the Transplantation Science Symposium in Canada and I would like to share this fantastic experience with all of you!

This symposium has been a fantastic opportunity to interact with other researchers and learn about the cutting-edge developments in transplantation science. I was lucky enough to give a talk about my DPhil research work on regulatory T cells. I received very positive feedback from other colleagues that will help with my future experiments. Moreover, I am very pleased that my supervisor Dr Fadi Issa and I received an award from The Transplantation Society thanks to this research work.

Besides, attending conferences allows you to meet new colleagues and explore the place with them. This symposium took place in Victoria, a lovely city in Vancouver Island, where our activities consisted of whale watching tours and visiting local wineries!

As you can see, being part of this symposium has been a professionally rewarding experience. Many world-renowned speakers were invited to the congress and it has been great to be inspired by them.
